An Exclusive Interview of Dhaval Patel, Director of Whisky is Risky
Whisky is Risky, a directorial debut by a young talent Dhaval Patel, who believes that, "Film is the mirror of a society and an extracted and an extracted fictional story". His film is a classically weaved piece of drama; shot in real location really worth a watch.
When asked what the film is about the young director was excited enough to share his expectations, "I believe this film will surely set a new mark in the Gujarati Film industry. It is nothing like you have seen before. We have used a multiple narrative structure which is lesser known in this industry. And as far as the length is concerned it is 95 minutes. This again proves that we have gathered the best things to entertain you without unnecessary clutter of songs and images. It will surely keep the audience hooked to their seats. And I have to say the music of the film will be one of its strong points. You can look forward to an amazing mix of melody and lyrics a new kind in the Gujarati industry."

According to the director he has not tried to make a social comment or tried to point out any issue in particular. He has tried his best to show us a real picture of the society from a common spectator's point of view. We strongly feel that Whisky is Risky can earn success owning to its strong storyline and classic camerawork.
A smartly scripted drama, with less of noise and more of action, will not let the audience stagnate on one shot or scene for a long time. Whisky is Risky is going to hit Theaters in April 2014.
